AROUND TOWN: HAFFENREFFER MUSEUM & CHOCOLATE

The Haffenreffer Museum of Anthropology at Brown University has a lecture series  to accompany its Reimagining the Americas exhibit.  On Monday, February 14, anthropologist Patricia McAnany of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, presents Before Columbus Discovered Chocolate: Cacao Cultivation and Courtly Appetite in the Classic Maya Lowlands.
